·       Refrigerate after infusion.  Use mocktail syrup within 4-6 weeks once infused; use cocktail alcohol infusion within 3 months. 

Instructions – How to Infuse

MOCKTAIL SYRUP: 1ST INFUSION: add hot water to the top of the jar and stir until the sugar is dissolved, let it sit to infuse for 20 min. Stir well and stir often.  Strain (squeeze those herbs) out the infusion and reserve the herbs for 2nd infusion.  2ND INFUSION: add the herbs back into the jar with 1 cup of organic sugar.  Add hot water to the top of the jar and stir until sugar is dissolved, let sit and infuse for 1 hour.  Stir well and stir often.  Strain (squeeze those herbs) out herbs and combine with 1st infusion syrup.

COCKTAIL INFUSION: 1ST INFUSION: add your choice of alcohol to the top of the jar and replace the lid.  Let alcohol sit in herbs and infuse for 3 days.  Shake well and shake often, making sure the sugar is dissolved.  Strain (squeeze those herbs) out the infusion and reserve herbs for the 2nd infusion.  2ND INFUSION: add herbs back into the jar with 1 cup of organic sugar, add new alcohol to the top of the jar, and replace the lid.  Let sit and infuse for 7 days.  Shake well and shake often, making sure the sugar is dissolved.  Strain (squeeze those herbs) and combine with 1st infusion.

 

Recipe:

2 oz Herbal Infusion

½ oz Lemon or Lime Juice

3 oz Water (if using Cocktail Infusion)

Shake with ice and strain into an 8oz cocktail glass, garnish with your favorite fresh herb

**try topping off the drink with sparkling or mineral water**
**for brunch mimosas, follow the mocktail syrup recipe and drizzle over champagne**
**use hot water instead for a soul-warming infusion**
**use Mocktail Syrup to make ice cubes for drinks & mimosas**
freeze the Mocktail Syrup for future use
**Herbal Fizz - just add champagne and top with Cocktail Infusion or Mocktail Syrup, no measurement needed**

REFRIGERATE AFTER INFUSION.  USE MOCKTAIL SYRUP WITHIN 4-6 WEEKS ONCE INFUSED; USE COCKTAIL ALCOHOL INFUSION WITHIN 3 MONTHS.
